Weekend Review

Well, let me tell you what I did over this Memorial Day weekend. I painted, and when I got tired of painting...I painted some more. If you follow my family's blogs, you will know that Michelle and John just bought their first house. Well, this weekend was devoted to helping them to get their house ready to move in. Friday night I went over there and got started, I painted the kitchen and got it ready for Scott to come in and do the faux finish on it. After painting the room yellow and cutting in the entire room we decided to call it a night, I think we ended around 1:30 AM. I slept at Mom and Dad's that night, and the next morning...I had some troubles getting up. So, I started late, this time ending a little bit earlier than the night before. Stayed the night with Mom and Dad again and joined them on Sunday morning for church. Sunday afternoon, it was back to the house to paint some more. Sunday night, Sarah and I left Erin with Grandma and Grandpa and came home for the night. The next morning we headed to the house and finished off another day of painting. It really wasn't too bad, just got kind of long. Well, I'm not really ready to go back to work, but then again, I never am. Well, I'm hoping that this week goes by really fast as I don't want to be there much. Anyhow...

Later,

David

A Slow Re-Start

Well, it's been a slow re-start at blogging. I didn't really intend to return to it, but then got a wild hair to do it. So, let me see if I can recap my week for everyone. Work was...well, let's not talk about work. My evenings this week have been filled with helping Sarah get the house cleaned and just bumming. I really haven't done much outside of cleaning this week that could be considered productive. I'm needing to get back to work on my Jeep. Our current car situation is really getting to me. I don't really like the Buick and would rather be driving the Bronco right now. I don't really have the money to get the Bronco fixed though. I still haven't replaced the front rotors on the Taurus, and the Jeep is still in parts in my garage. So, I've been thinking about buying a Mustang to start working on too. Yeah, right. I think Sarah would be one unhappy camper if I went and did that. So, for now, I'll just have to be unhappy with the situation.
